Life At Arbor

Arbor Core Values

VISION:

We put families first, creating end-of-life events that celebrate their loved ones in a way that is meaningful to them.

MISSION:

We are guided by our belief that every life is unique and every remembrance should be too. This belief shapes how we provide expert guidance to families and create meaningful ways to remember, honour and celebrate their loved ones.

VALUES:

Compassion, Integrity, Trust, Teamwork, Excellence.

At our core is the value of compassion. We believe that trust, reputation and organizational excellence; both to each other as colleagues and to the people we serve, can only happen with a strong foundation of empathy.

Community

We provide enrichment to our employees and to the communities we serve.

As a member of the community, we at Arbor Memorial understand the importance of maintaining a strong connection with our neighbours. We proudly support organizations, events, and initiatives that promote community values in all the locations in which we serve.

Life at Arbor

Arbor has been designated a Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC) through the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA)’s Champions Council. The CPHCA was formed in 2010 and is comprised of key Canadian leaders working to advance the profile of hospice palliative care across the country.

The CCC designation is awarded to Canadian employers who support their employees who have taken on the vital role of caregiving for ill or injured loved ones, and Arbor was recognized for our commitment to upholding policies for employees who are caregivers.

Arbor Memorial believes strongly in work life balance. Working at Arbor means working in an inclusive and respectful work environment.

We also like to have fun:

  • Arbor Company Picnic
  • Arbor Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament
  • Social events throughout the year
  • Arbor Memorial Foundation Fundraising activities
  • Holiday Toy Drive
